Chen Zhi Prince Group News

Chen Zhi is the chairman of Prince Group, one of Cambodia's largest and fastest growing enterprise companies, but shockingly little is known about Chen Zhi.

Apart from an official Twitter and LinkedIn account, which are most likely run by his handlers, Chen Zhi of Prince Group appears to be keeping a low profile despite his extensive business interests in Cambodia.

Most people call him Chen Zhi, and he is of Chinese descent who later became a naturalized Cambodian citizen. He met with Cambodia's Prime Minister, Hun Sen, after visiting the country in 2010.

His extensive involvement in Prince Real Estate has resulted in the development of several projects in both the Cambodian cities of Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville. These ventures paved the way for more than a million square meters of construction.

Prince Plaza Center, Prince Modern Plaza, Prince IT Building, and Prince City Center are examples of such projects. They are mostly currently under construction, but they will be finished soon.

Belt Road Capital Management, Prince Bank, Cambodia Airways, Prince Supermarket, Awesome Global Investment Group, and Canopy Sands Development are all part of the Prince Group.

In addition to being active in business, he is also active in philanthropy.

Chen Zhi's year of philanthropy in Cambodian society was in 2020. He decided to contribute $3 million to assist Cambodia in purchasing 1 million COVID-19 vaccines.

Chen Zhi provided assistance to the victims of the Cambodian floods as well. 

He has made a generous donation to establish the Prince Horology Vocational Training Center, which provides full and partial scholarships to talented Cambodian students.

Chen Zhi seems to be especially passionate about luxury watches, and he wishes for Cambodian-made watches to compete with those made in Switzerland and Japan.

While Chen Zhi prefers to stay out of the spotlight because most of his work is done behind the scenes, he has launched over 240 charity events with Prince Group. The Prince Charitable Foundation was established to further expand the philanthropic efforts of Chen Zhi Prince Group Chairman and the rest of the entire holding group.

Chen Zhi and the Group were instrumental in ensuring that many people were working in Phnom Penh. They accomplished this by launching a massive project. They had announced the impending launch of Ream City. This $16 billion project will build an 834-hectare city in Sihanoukville.

Ream City would have the typical characteristics of planned cities, such as malls, colleges, landed homes, condos, hotels, beach resorts, beach houses, parks, and so on, since it will be built on reclaimed land.
